While paddling back along the small canal route we can hear wonderful bird concert of nightingcales, sedge warblers, marsh warblers and Blyth's reed warblers. When we are paddling silent and the mist slowly rise from the surfce of the water, we might see the beaver, muskrat or even ottery swimming alon the canoe. Summer nights are full of magic!

Ecological aspect of this trip:
All the guides and other participants are local people. Using these services You support the local employment and help peolple to survive of living in this rural area. In this trip we are visiting in the protected nature area. We have to take care of not disturbing the bids or other animals. This trip is planned together with local authorities and ornitologists.

215€ / person. If you want only participate one night the price is 50€/person.

Duration:
Night trips duration is 4 - 6 hours. We make two night trips, starting at 00.00. At day time it is possible to make also bird trips or other nature watching trips if wanted. We make a visit to the Information Center of Linnansaari National Park.

Equipments:
Customers should have they own clothing for outdoor activities. Notice, that nights can be very cold even in summer time, sometimes near zero!

Route information and skills needed:
The start is at the center of Rantasalmi. We paddle near shore lines and the water area is narrow and shallow. We paddle around the water area of Pappilanjoki, Kosulanlampi and Kupialansalmi and back. There are couple places for stopping if needed. We enjoy the picnick lunch by camp site. No further padlling skills is needed. Fysically capability to paddle your own canoe is needed.

Cancellation terms:
Whit hard wind, rain or thunder trip is canceled. We can make the trip also by bicycles or by car if necessary.
